Kaori Asada ( ??? , Asada Kaori , was born April 16 1973) , known by his stage name Bonnie Pink , is a Japanese singer-songwriter and musician. He writes and composes all his songs, and plays guitar and piano. Asada says that Bonnie Pink's name is random and has no special meaning; he chose it because it is easy to remember and because he thinks his words are funny together. In addition to the original Japanese, he is also fluent in English, Korean, and Chinese.

History
Bonnie Pink debuted in 1995 with the single "Orenji", with its real name, Asada Kaori. His first album, Blue Jam , was released in the same year under the record label Pony Canyon. He described it as "a mixture of bitter honey, blues music, momentary silence, unbearable madness, tears, sour grapes, hope bombs, great love, and some green apples" on the jacket. It introduces its unique musical style that has been defined as an off-beat mix between jazz, blues, pop, and rock. The following year he met Tore Johansson, the Swedish producer for The Cardigans, who became his best friend and produced much of his work. The song "It Will Rain!" is the fifth end of the popular Rurouni Kenshin anime . She wrote her third album, Evil & amp; Flowers (1998), when in isolation in rural Sweden. He hopes to find inspiration there, but becomes depressed. He puts his frustration in the song. He went to New York alone for a vacation and studied music after releasing his third album in 1998. He returned in 1999 and was contracted with Warner Music Japan.
Release
On his fourth album, Let Go , he worked with Mitchell Froom, New York producers from Elvis Costello, Cibo Matto, and Suzanne Vega. He gave co-production credit for the album because he was so impressed with it. Her fifth album, Just a Girl , came out in 2001. The following year she collaborated with another artist and released the Re-Pink , a remix album. Present came out in 2003 and Even So in 2004. Golden Eyes , featuring the single "So Wonderful", came out in 2005.
Love is a Bubble
Bonnie Pink released a new single "Love is Bubble" in May 2006. The June 2006 single "A Perfect Sky", featured in the popular Anessa makeup ad with Yuri Ebihara's popular model, reached number 2 on the Oricon singles chart, making it the most successful single in Bonnie Pink's career. His "best of" album sold out quickly in the Japanese Amazon and reached number two on the Oricon charts and continues to enter the top 30 list which became one of the best-selling albums of the year. In November 2006, she was featured on the M-Flo single "Love Song". The single was a hit for M-Flo and Bonnie Pink, debuting at number 7 on the Oricon charts, which was a big jump from the previous M-Flo single and earned Bonnie Pink the top 10 other singles.
Very Good
The song "Cotton Candy" was used as the ending theme for the anime Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor in 2005, and "Love is Bubble" is the theme song for the Japanese film Memories of Matsuko, where he also performed. His single "Last Kiss", which appears as the last song on his greatest hits album, is the closing theme for the popular Gantz anime.
Anything for you
Bonnie Pink's single "Anything for You", though not as successful as "A Perfect Sky", still reaches number 9 on the Oricon charts, achieves moderate success. Bonnie Pink, shortly after releasing her previous single, began appearing on popular music TV shows and promoting her new single, "Water Me", which is the theme song for popular TV drama Watashitachi no Ky? Kasho ("Our Textbooks") a dark and melancholy drama about a young girl who committed suicide and its effects in her school. The single "Water Me" reached number 6 on Oricon on the release date and number 8 on the weekly charts. On July 7, 2007, Bonnie Pink performed at Live Earth in Kyoto.
Thinking Loud Hard
The Bonnie Pink album Thinking Out Loud was released on July 25, 2007, her first album being sold in CD and CD DVD format. The first press of both editions came with an access ticket containing AD/Password to book tickets for his tour, "Bonnie Pink Tour 2007" Thinking Fiercely "Final at Nippon Budokan" on a designated dedicated website. The pre-order CD makes album number 1 on Amazon.com Japan Top Sellers. The album debuted at number 4 on the Oricon Daily Charts and number 5 on the weekly chart which sold about 53,605 copies. On September 5, 2007, the album has sold about 90,000 copies. Bonnie Pink is following the "Thinking Outloud Tour" from late 2007 to early 2008.
Me and Ai
In April 2008, Bonnie Pink performed guest performances for Domoto Tsuyoshi's solo project, 244 Endli-x albums I and Ai . She appeared on the last song, "Say Anything", which she wrote the lyrics with Domoto.
Ring a Bell
The English version of Bonnie Pink's single "Ring a Bell" is available only through digital downloads. "Ring a Bell" is used as the theme song for the release of Xbox 360 games from America Tales of Vesperia . The single was released in Japan and America on iTunes to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Bonnie Pink. His Japanese counterpart, "Kane o Narashite", was released on August 6, 2008. The thirtieth single Bonnie Pink, "Joy/Happy Ending", was released on April 8, 2009. One , 10th studio album, followed on May 13, 2009.
