Eaton's Corrasable Bond is a trademarked name for typed paper brands. Paper that can be removed has a glass or coated surface that is almost invisible, easily removed by friction, and receive a typewriter ink well enough. Removing the layer removes the ink on it, so the error can be easily erased once. After deletion, the correction is typed onto an unprotected paper surface and can not be erased easily a second time.
Because the coated surface does not absorb ink, the erasable paper tends to become smudged. Since the coating is intended to be easily removed by friction, typed pages are less durable. Under some storage conditions, this layer tends to make the pages stick together. Paper that can be removed is not suitable for legal documents or archive archives. It is available in a certain amount of thickness.

In the United States, Eaton's Corrasable Bond is a very familiar brand of typing papers that can be removed during the mid-1950s and 1960s, and "corrasable" becomes almost a generic name for typo paper that can be erased. For example, in banning the use of such papers for the submission of manuscripts, the American Linguistics Society refers to "Eaton's 'Corrasable Bond' and similar brands."
Author Peter David, who works as an assistant editor at E. P. Dutton recorded Elsevier/Nelson before becoming a professional writer, after finding a submission written on a removable band that made the print difficult to read. In the 1992 column Comics Buyers Guides where he gave aspiring writers tips on writing posts, he stated, â € Å"Do not write anything other than a standard-weight white bond paper. I do not care what Abe Lincoln or Jack Kerouac wrote, you're not Lincoln or Kerouac. And because crying out loud, do not use a bond that can be removed. It's not an avoidance the author uses in Tribulation to get Annie out of the house; there is no original type of writer on the bundle that can be removed. "

The paper is mentioned in the Stephen King novel The Tribulation, when Annie Wilkes bought it for Paul Sheldon, thinking that since this is the most expensive paper, it has to be the best. When Paul pointed out to Annie that the Corrasable Bond was vulnerable to stains, and therefore hated by the editor, Annie thought she was ungrateful and, in a bad temper, smashed the pile of paper onto Paul Sheldon's knees and thighs, causing the healing foot pains that were still healing.
