Green Factory, Inc. , is an American USA retail and clothing retail store and accessories based in Columbia, Missouri. The Green factory was founded in 2007 by Daniel Lyons, CEO, and Jack Short, President and Chairman. The company focuses on offering environmentally friendly, "urban" clothing and accessories, and apartment goods, special marketing for campus demographics. The company offers organic cotton and bamboo clothing manufactured in facilities that rely solely on wind and solar power. Green's plant contributes a portion of its revenue to the United Nations Air for Life organization that provides clean water to underserved populations around the world.
The Green Factory is shipped to the United States, Canada, Australia, the UK, and Europe.

The Green Factory has been described as selling art, edgy, and fashion-forward items; for example, a T-shirt inscribed with words "Go Organic" or "Carbon Free" and an organic cotton bag that says "F * @ k Plastic." One newspaper claimed that "There are some businesses out there that can combine trendy clothing, smart accessories, and contemporary products with plans to save the environment."
According to the internet blog, TreeHugger.com, Factory Green is "the company of hope and change, and the ability of young people to do something to turn things around." The Green Factory website goes on to say that "The Going Green Movement is about... reducing environmental impact" and that "the world's youth... must demand the industry to not only recognize its destructive impact, but to force change."
The Green Graphic Apparel Factory is designed by fashion and design students of the University of Missouri. Empty organic cotton and bamboo shirts and hoodies are produced in small facilities in India that use wind and solar power and are built by fair trade workers.
