Lindsey Stirling (born September 21, 1986) is a violinist, dancer, performance artist, and American composer. He presents a choreographic violin show, either directly or in a music video found on his reputable YouTube channel, which he created in 2007.
Stirling performs a variety of musical styles, from classical music to pop and rock to electronic dance music. In addition to the original work, his discography contains covers of songs by other musicians and various soundtracks. Personal life
Stirling attends Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah to study filmmaking. He then served as a missionary in New York City for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). A story he wrote about his mission was later published in the compilation Do not Try in Heels: Story of Mission and Advice from Sisters Who've Been There . Stirling returned to Provo in 2009 to continue studying at BYU. He then moved back to Arizona, in December 2012, to be with his family. In August 2015, he graduated from the BYU Marriott Management School with a Bachelor of Science degree in recreational management. He lives in Los Angeles.
