Edun Live on Campus was made in the fall of 2006 through a partnership between Miami University and EDUN LIVE. The purpose of this partnership is to bring EDUN LIVE to campuses with the goal of educating students about the importance of becoming a socially conscious consumer. The original team consists of 15 students and faculty advisors who develop business models, create business plans, and increase concern about the program. ELOC is a student-run company for students, selling EDUN LIVE t-shirts, while reminding your social conscience. The students do all aspects of the business from t-shirts to graphics to screen printing. This movement has spread to Ohio University, Gonzaga University, Simmons University and Tufts University and continues to expand worldwide. Student-run groups buy blank shirts made in Africa with African cotton, put logos on them to raise awareness about social issues, and sell them to campus organizations and other groups.

The goal - "promoting trade, not help" - is to promote fair trade in Africa, improve overall working conditions, and create sustainable employment in Africa. Edun Live currently manufactures underwear in factory networks in sub-Saharan African countries, such as Uganda, Lesotho, and South Africa. All empty shirts are made of 100% African cotton and the entire production process takes place in these three areas. As well as making clothing at Lesotho EDUN LIVE factory, EDUN has collected over $ 600,000 for the Lesotho Alliance to Fight Aid (ALAFA) Apparel through the sale of its ONE Campaign T-shirt, made in Lesotho.
