Tights are a kind of cloth garment, most often sheathe body from waist to toe with a tight, hence the name. They come in a blurry, opaque, thin and absolute mesh or a combination of them, like the original concept of the American pantyhose term with mere legs and panty blur. Wearing tights has a history that goes back several centuries, when they were worn by men. Today, they are used mainly by women and girls. In recent years, they are sometimes offered as menswear. Athletic pants are considered unisex. Initially, leggings only cover the legs, not the lower body; two separate parts; and does not contain elastic fibers, so cut fit (to use less cloth) and loose, not tight. When made of fine silk, these socks are regarded as socks. When nylon fibers were developed and introduced in the 1940s, these stockings were referred to as nylon. When a separate leg is woven together with a panty covering the lower body to the waist in an integrated format, the term pantyhose is created, because it is a one piece construction of a panty with a pair of separate hoses, one for each leg. Joining together eliminates the need for a garter as it holds each leg cover separately.
In American English, the difference between pantyhose and tights is determined by the weight of the yarn used and the density or stiffness of the weaving used for the clothing. In general, anything up to 40 denier on foot or overall is known as pantyhose and anything that ends can be classified as tight pants, like for example 'running tights' and 'cycling tights'. In the UK, the word "tights" are used in all cases when referring to both pantyhose and "leggings", for leg or footless trousers of thicker and usually opaque materials. Tights can be thin but in color, while leggings are practically or completely opaque, not solely. Thus the almost opaque tight pants are sometimes labeled semi-opaque and are not considered suitable as pants for being overly revealing or disrespectful.
There are many sub-classifications of tights or pantyhose that describe proper construction (such as control over, smooth, support and thin). Although most of the tights are mainly nylon or cotton, lycra is usually included in the modern mix to improve suitability. Athletic tights are blurred absolute and often without legs, although they may have "stirrups" that run under the feet to hold the cuff near the ankles.
Both in historic and modern times, the wearing of tight socks by men is sometimes attributed to the accompanying garment mounted in the groin above the male genitals. In the fifteenth century, some men wore intricate and decorative pieces of cod to highlight their genital talents, and as a symbol of their masculinity. In modern times, male ballet dancers generally wear dance belts under their good stockings to provide support on the genitals and to promote a smooth and orderly appearance due to very thin tights and tight skin to reveal the detailed contours of the male genitalia.

Originally from a hose worn by European men a few centuries ago, tights were made as short as possible for practical reasons while riding. For the nobility, the material will be made of silk or fine wool rather than the rough cloth used by the lower classes. In the time of King Henry VIII of England, such was the male mode of presenting the legs that had changed so well that even the king had condensed the calf area under his hose. Her portrait paintings and other nobles often illustrate the use of a piece of cod covering the groin.

Current use
Tights are most often worn with skirts or women's clothing.
In the world of theater stockings are also common, especially in the Renaissance costumes, and dancing, especially in ballets.
The term "tights" has been used to try to make fun of certain traditional British uniforms. The most famous is the Serjeants-at-Arms at the Palace of Westminster, after a protester successfully passes security, portrayed in the media as "middle-aged man in tights."
Use of athletics
For horseback riding, "tights" in some horse riders can refer to tight pants for riding lightweight materials stretching to the rider's ankles and wearing a 'paddock' style (ankle height). Such pants are worn in summer or as underwear in winter. In warm climates they can be worn throughout the year. These "riding tights" are cheaper to buy than jodhpurs or pants which are a type of pants pants made of heavier material and which only extend to mid-calf and are intended to be worn with high boots. Tights can also describe the foot coverings worn in cycling in cold weather and in other athletic activities, especially by runners. These tight pants are usually a thicker mixture of spandex, and usually without legs. It has also been suggested by some sports scientists that the use of tight pants can reduce the vibration of muscle tissue. Tights is a popular use of dancers, especially in ballet. Modern dancers can also wear tight pants.
Athletic tights received some publicity during the 2005-2006 season, when the players began wearing tights along the ankles under their uniform shorts. The leading NBA player, Kobe Bryant, was one of the first to wear tights, and the style was later adopted by several other NBA players, as well as several college and high school players. The style sparked controversy, leading to a proposal to ban wearing tight pants with a basketball uniform.
In colder temperatures outdoors, American footballers sometimes wear spandex tights beside their skins under their stretchy and tight pants.
Health and beauty use
Because the fabrics used in tights are made of braid fabrics like nylon or cotton, there are pores in the fabric where the modern producers have been able to place other items that are beneficial to the skin. They can use microencapsulation techniques to place substances such as moisturizers and other skin creams in tights.
Design features
Tights are produced in various varieties for stylish and comfort reasons. Specific footwear designs include darker or invisible briefs, used to be used to create extra support or forming effects.
One area in which the design differs greatly from model to model is in the area of ââthe toe. There are several types of toe types, such as sandals, open toes and reinforced, all offering different effects. While some descriptions of the difference between open legs and foot sandals can lead to confusion, the industry standard is that the foot slippers cover the entire leg and open leg pants either using a silicone band or a foot loop to anchor the garments while leaving the toes open.
